40’s Ladylike This red belt creates a longer willowy ladylike silhouette.  I think it’s essential to get some thick belts to go with the chunky 60’s throwback dresses and large knit sweaters of the season.  It pulls the look together and adds the right polish.

coffee-cuffs.jpgI saw these cool coffee cuffs in New York Time’s Style Magazine this past weekend.  Made in Canada from reclaimed architectural veneer offcuts, these wood grained bracelets double as a ‘java jacket’.  The first thing I do in the morning (besides wake up my eight year-old) is grind and make my own vanilla nut coffee.  When I’m out and need my java or chamomile fix, these would come in fashionably handy.

I’m glad that environmentalism is becoming the new politically correct or ‘in’ thing.  When I was at the market recently, I noticed Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh both drive the Prius.  These ladies are a great example of being chic and responsible.
